Keeping the art alive!

So I rarely get to do any art anymore so I usually jump to any opportunity to do so. My sister owns a dance studio and has her yearly recital coming up. They are doing movie themes and for one of the dances they wanted the Gusteau's sign from Ratatouille. So here is what I have been trying to work on when ever I got the chance. Towards the end I sort of had to hurry up and finish. It has been really hard finding free time this last month because of sicknesses, books, Matt being out of town, Matt having to get our sprinkling system done and other dillimas. But it's done and here it its. They will be cutting around the words and picture so I didn't have to paint the whole board even though it looks unfinished.

Trouble Trouble

So Tate's favorite cousin spent a couple of days with us and let me tell you, when these to are together they always are doing some crazy things. This is the same cousin who tate use to always say, "Eeewww Stinky" with. Anyway Tate loved having him around and we enjoyed it as well. Austin really treated Addie well and she would always get a huge smile on her face when he came over to her. So one activity we did was play doe. I figured I would get some cleaning done while they were keeping busy. When I came into the room Tate had blue play doe all over his face. These two are so funny when they are together....at least they like to think so.




So after all sorts of trouble and running through sprinklers and palying in dirt they totally wiped themselves out!

First Teeth

So I have been trying to get a decent picture if Addie's first Teeth. They came in pretty much the same time and let me tell you, that was not real fun. he probably was the grouchiest she has ever been. They sure look cute though!

I LOVE SUMMER!

Ok, so I realize the weather still isn't as consistant as I would like, but when it's warm out side....I just love it! I have been waiting for this warm weather it seems like forever. Well Some of our friends had the great ideah of going up to American Fork canyon on one of these nice warm days. I was like Heck ya! So here are some of our pics.

So we started off with building a fire.......Ok Actually we spent most of the time building a fire. What ever happened to all those useful things they taught you in boy scouts????

So the guys had to bring a football and throw it around. I warned them of the river right next to us and of course they didn't listen. Nothing new! In this picture you can see how important that foot ball really was. I wonder if it was me floating down the river what extents they would go to pull me out? Probably they would have just thrown me a twig and said hold on.....

Tate making his mark in the outdoors. This was actually funny. We told Tate if there wasn't a bathroom he could pee on the trees. So later on we turn around and find him making his mark. The next day Tate woke up and went down stair and was preparing to go outside. I asked him what he was doing and he said," I want to pee on the trees". Anyway I had to have a little talk about that with him.

Later on I think Nick really regreted the whole getting in the river thing.

Out at LAST!!!

So A few weeks ago some of my neighborhood friends and I took our kids out on some play dates. Man, it was nice to get out. Here our some pics at Thanksgiving Point and one at the Aquarium. So fun!!!

Little Man Tate

Tate has been so funny lately! So He loves "Cars", the movie. His favorite character is Mater. We bought him car theme underwear and of course his favorite pair is,"Mater"! So everyday he is looking for the mater pair and we only have two pair, needless to say I don't got the laundry down to a "T"! So twice now Tate has not had his Mater Undies cleaned and he has gotten really upset at me. Both times he got really quiet and I notice he would get a weird look on his face. Then suddenly his pants got wet and he would look at me and say, "uh oh, My underwear is wet, I need to find mater now"!

The other week Tate was over at our neighbors house. Tate had gotten a hold of their phone and began talking in a very irritated voice saying........

"I know Matt",
"I know, I will get it done",
"Ok, I am busy, I am going to go now Matt"
"Ok Matt, Ok Matt, Bye Matt".......



They were laughing so hard and told Matt who came home and told me that Tate is very good at mimicking me! I was so embarrassed. Now I am the mean wife who talks mean to m husband on the phone. I guess kids are really good at letting the world know the real you...... Ya, but it is funny!

I'm a Big Boy Now!

When Tate has conquered potty training he decided he could also dress himself. These pictures were taken like a month ago when it really was cold. He would put on his snow boot (that's it) and say, "Bye, I am going to see Nick and TT" or "Bye, I am going over to Landons". Then he would run to the door or escape through the garage and run outside. I was able to catch these pics of him in action. It was so funny. He was trying really hard to get away from me and find some way out the door.
We had to put a child proof lock on or garage and backdoor now. it was sort of embarassing when I didn't see him run outside dressed....., well not dressed and a neighbor finding him. Since then he has now moved to PJ's and that is all he will ever wear.
