Little Dude and Melt Downs

So Tate is obsessed with purses and Matt is not to happy about the idea. I wasn't too worried either except he keeps getting so mad because he can't fit all of his trains and other favorite toys in it. Finally I had it, he kept throwing the purse across the room and did not understand that you can't fit everything in it all at once. So I decided to try to solve it by finding him a larger and more manly bag. I found an old diaper bag and brought it down stairs (it was all I could find). he was so excited and i thought for sure I fixed the purse problem and the melt downs............um.....no! So Tate took the purse and took one item out and was able to zip it, then he grabbed the purse and tried to stuff it in the diaper bag and zip it. Surprise, it didn't fit, so melt downs are still continuing and when Matt gets home he is going to be even more mad to find that Tate has his own collection of purses and diaper bags. I guess my idea wasn't that great. He got mad at me for the idea and hit me, so now he's in time out.......for the the third time today. Well wish me luck!

Tasha, this is Marie "Leishman" Lefler. Long time no see! I just love these blogs!

I can honestly say I know what you are taking about. I have a 2 1/2 year old son, and your story seems all too familiar. Good luck with Tate. He is a cute little boy, good work!

this music has got to stop. its a deterrent for anyone visiting your blog and embarrassing for a student to be looking at a blog during class and having some country song play out of nowhere. think of the others.

I'm thinking Tate could use some anger management classes. He is having a love affair with hitting and now purses. Definitely seek some good therapy! I can recommend a really good one. HA!
